Reviews

This was our second time at Laurel Supper Club. Our first experience was as good as this time. The main dining area is small, but still plenty of room around each table to be comfortable and not feel like you’re practically in someone else’s lap! Taste of food was amazing. Our favorite is the Popovers with homemade honey butter they serve warm almost immediately when you sit down. They serve homemade salad dressing with their house salad as well. The signature Parmesan peppercorn dressing and blue cheese dressing are among the best we’ve tasted. Wait staff and service was phenomenal. We will definitely come back many more times even though this supper club is over an hour drive from our home. This club has an old time feel and is decorated with the same charm.

Birthday dinner for my son with the family. Everyone's meals were mostly delicious and hot. I say mostly because i ordered the 12oz sirloin with grilled crab, and while it was decent, I ordered it med rare and got it more rare, and while I could have sent it back, I also didn't want to have to wait for an additional 20 minutes to get it back and I'm not opposed to what I had either. All in all, it was a good supper.

We drove in from St. Paul seeking out the traditional Wisconsin supper club experience - and the Laurel didn’t disappoint. The popovers were delightful - steaks were delicious too. Everything here is homemade. Most of all, the atmosphere made the evening. The dim lighting, the dark colors, the wood paneling - and the old school vibe. Would love to come back!

It's an old fashioned Wisconsin supper club and they have stayed true to it right down to the popovers. Had the prime rib and it was terrific, it was so big that I could only eat about a third and took home the rest. Waitress was spot on, timing the courses so that they were coming out just as we finished the previous course, that's true experience and skill. Everything was perfect and we will be back soon.

Bar tender friendly and talkative to everyone. Servers on the move and allowed enough time between courses, 1st a popover, then soup followed by salad, then main course, offered dessert but one was too full, after dinner drinks when you moved back to the bar. Recommend calling ahead for reservations. Truly a supper club of Northern Wisconsin.

Once again, the Laurel didn't disappoint! Steaks for everyone were cooked perfectly. The popover, salad, French onion soup (delicious as always), bread, and meal was fantastic along with the service. If you haven't been, please go. You will love it. This quintessential Wisconsin Supper Club always hits the spot.

Had a fantastic dinner recently celebrating my Dad’s birthday. The popover was classic and they all instantly disappeared. I had the French Onion soup. Wow! Just like I like it! The dinner salad was great as was the bread served with it. Some of the best blue cheese dressing I have had. The medium rare ribeye over mushrooms and onions was amazing. Yes, add the mushrooms and onions! So much food and very reasonable prices!! Already planning another trip.
